COLLABORATING PHYSICIAN

Dr Robert Glenn, MD our collaborating physician was Chief Resident at Medical University of South Carolina, as well as received his Doctor of Medicine and completed his psychiatry Residency. He has completed years of research related to the Phase one trial of the anti depressant effects of IV Ketamine in patients with comorbid alcohol dependence and depression. 

He has completed multiple poster presentations with the American Psychiatric Association, Society of Biological Psychiatry, and South Carolina Psychiatric Association. He was a Grand Rounds Presenter at MUSC, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He was Co-Author of research articles at MUSC, Department of Psychiatry.  

He has had teaching experience as a Clinicals Assistant Professor, Longitudinal Supervisor, OSCE Examiner and Teaching Assistant.

TELEHEALTH SERVICES

 I am New York transplant who received his Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah Georgia and then went on to pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Chamberlain University. I am nationally board certified in Psychiatric/Mental/Behavioral medicine, Family Medicine, and Emergency medicine. I have been treating patients for a diverse range of diagnoses that include, but not limited to depression, bipolar, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, post-traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, addiction, trauma, and numerous other co-current medical disorders. Mental health is the foundation for physical health. Working as a team with the other medical providers, I want to help patients build that strong foundation. My goal with patients is to assure that they experience the greatest quality of life while receiving medical and mental health treatment.  I believe that mental health is the foundation for physical health. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services. I possess strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with clients. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. I have provided care in a variety of settings; Intensive Outpatient Programs, Acute Inpatient Psychiatric facilities, Long-term Inpatient Senior Community facilities, Partial Hospitalization, Minimum-security correctional facilities, and Long-term civil/forensic Inpatient facilities in the private and public sectors.

 Brittany Johnson is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). She graduated with her BSN in 2013 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She gained her experience as a RN in a variety of settings including mental health. She later earned her DNP as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner (AGACNP) in 2019. As an AGACNP, she worked as a nocturnist in hospital medicine for one year when she realized her passion for mental health. She became dual certified obtaining her post master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2022 from Herzing University. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to all ages. Guided by evidenced-based treatment, provides client-centered care while maintaining strict client confidentiality.

Michael D. Santone, DNP, APRN-BC is a nationally certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He is fully licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and fully credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Mike earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA., in 2010.

D. Santone has over 25 years experience in behavioral health and chemical dependency. He works with the adult population 18-70 years old and  treats all Mood and Thought Disorders.  His experience involves private practice, inpatient and outpatient hospitalization, and correctional facilities. Mike is an advocate for the LGBTQ population.

 Lakesha  is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). She graduated with her masters of science in nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012, from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge. In fall of 2021, Lakesha earned her doctorate in nursing from Southern University School of Nursing . She later on ,became dual certified obtaining her post masters certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2023 from Herzing University. 

Lakesha  has over 17 years of combined  nursing experience in a variety of settings including med surg, emergency care, urgent care and mental health services . 

Lakesha has been at the forefront of providing lifesaving and compassionate care to assisting people from all walks of life.

My name is LaToya Mason, a passionate healthcare professional. Originating

from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, my academic journey led me to Dillard University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Over the span of

a decade, the fast-paced world of the emergency room became my professional home. Here, amidst the chaos, I honed my skills and embraced the challenges that came with providing crucial healthcare services. The experiences in the emergency room not only sharpened my clinical expertise but also fueled my desire to delve deeper into mental health care. With dedication, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge in the realm of healthcare, Nicholls State University became the canvas for my advanced practice registered nurse degree specializing in mental health. A milestone achieved with diligence and determination. The chapters ahead promise to be filled with new challenges, growth, and the unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those under my care.

  Jill Mutavdzic has been an RN for over 18 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology, before returning to school to become an RN. She was born and raised in New Orleans and moved to Madisonville, La. after Katrina where she raised her three daughters.  She recently moved to Baton Rouge to be closer to her girls who all are students at LSU. Jill's nursing experience is in maternal and child health services, surgery, mental health intake coordinator, community health education, and most recently in a juvenile correctional facility where she realized her true calling as a mental health provider. She received her master's degree as a PMHNP from Herzing University and brings experience, knowledge, and a passion for helping people with mental health disorders.
