The Prairieville team

Shannon Wilkerson MA, LPC

Face to Face Sessions and Telehealth Services in the Prairieville Office

I believe that everyone could use some empowerment, empathy, and guidance to navigate this life and learn to find meaning in every aspect of it. There is no ‘normal’. Your life should be led in accordance with your values and the things that give you purpose—‘your normal’. To me, you are the expert on your life and experiences, and I am a partner in helping you identify and cope with difficulties that this life can bring.

Katelyn Cheatwood MSW, LCSW

I have 8 years of social work experience. I graduated with my Masters degree in 2015 from LSU Baton Rouge. I have previously worked providing individual therapy to Elementary School children that struggled with emotional and behavioral issues. I have also worked in various elementary schools in Natchitoches Parish where I am from. I  have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults.

Shea D'Amico MS, LPC

Face to Face Sessions and Telehealth Services in the Prairieville Office

Hey there! My name is Shea and I firmly believe counseling can empower you for the better and would love to help you navigate your journey. I approach counseling from a compassionate, patient, and understanding standpoint as it is very important to me that you feel understood and heard in a safe and trusting environment. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in 2015, my Masters degree in 2018, and received my LPC license in 2021. My style is based primarily in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, however, based on your needs that may sometimes change. I specialize mainly with adults who struggle with substance use but also have experience working with co-occurring issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and many others. The first step is knowing when to reach out for help and I am looking forward to helping you through.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, my Master’s degree is in Mental Health Counseling, which I earned in December of 2013 from ULM. I am currently working towards a Doctorate at LSU. My approach to counseling is collaborative in nature where I will provide a safe space for us to work through your therapeutic goals. My specialties include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, grief,  career counseling, career burnout, couples/marital, college preparation, relationship issues, and LGBTQ. I have worked in community mental health settings, private practice, and higher education. Counseling is a personal journey that I aim to provide you a

safe, nonjudgmental space to share your thoughts and life experiences with. Together we will work through all of life’s challenges to help you achieve your personal goals. I look forward to beginning this journey with you.

Face to Face Sessions and Telehealth Services in the Prairieville Office

My name is Andrew Hebert. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have had the privilege of

providing mental health and addiction counseling services over the last two decades to a wide range of

individuals including adults, children and adolescents, couples, families and geriatric patients.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating all patients with respect, sensitivity,

and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral,

mindfulness, psychotherapy and reality-based counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to

meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a

change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

Jill Hebert - MA, PLPC

Face to Face Sessions and Telehealth Services in the Prairieville Office

Counseling is very personal and self-empowering, and I would love to help guide you on that journey. Through counseling you can expect to learn more about your thoughts and emotions and gain tools to cope with life stressors so that you can achieve your goals for personal growth. I take a collaborative approach to counseling where I believe that you are your own expert and play a crucial role in working towards your goals. My style is based primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, I often integrate various approaches based on each person’s unique needs. Counseling is great for changing our patterns that no longer serve us, unpacking difficult emotions, or for just talking things through, so when you are ready to start this journey I’d be glad to take this first step with you.

SEAN STANFORD - MA, PLPC

Face to Face Sessions and Telehealth Services in the Prairieville Office

I am a Georgia native who received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern University A&M College. I have been counseling in the Baton Rouge area since 2017, working with clients 4+ on a variety of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD/ADD, grief, anger management, oppositional defiance, and post traumatic stress to name a few. Most of my interventions surround Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). I believe that everyone deserves to live a positive and productive life. I believe in your strength, now it's time for you to believe in you too. Let’s walk together and find the light at the end of the tunnel.
