I have a passion for connecting and helping people reach balance, direction, and live a more fulfilling life. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families. I have worked with people from various backgrounds including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, stages of life, trauma, severe mental illness, and marital/relationship issues. Therapy is highly effective, but requires openness, patience, and dedication! I would love to work with you and help you on this journey called “Life.”

I tend to be eclectic and pull from many different modalities, while still continuing to grow, expand, and research new ones.  Therapy is not a “one size fits all” that I keep in mind in sessions.  Each person and their uniqueness should be considered in finding the right technique or method to suit that person. Just to name a few techniques that I use include: cognitive reframing/restructuring, meditation/relaxation, solution focused, deconstructing negative thought/behavioral patterns, light hypnosis for rewiring subconscious, affirmations, frequency healing/Healy device, and thought writing.

to better understand themselves and to build a solid foundation for who they see themselves as

and how we navigate the world influences every aspect of our lives. Thanks for reading this and

I look forward to working together!

Hello, I’m Darnelle Mentor, and I’m a licensed counselor. I attended Southern New

Hampshire University, where I earned my Master's in clinical mental health counseling. I work with

adolescents and adults with trauma, abuse, stages of life challenges, anxiety, depression, other mood

disorders, and relationship issues. The clients I work with often feel disconnected from their former

routines and identities, and need support to regain control of their lives. They are seeking validation and

guidance in learning how to navigate stigmas and traumatic events. My approach is deeply rooted in

understanding each person's unique experiences and tailoring treatment to address their specific needs.

I emphasize flexibility by integrating evidence-based practices with holistic and alternative approaches,

such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and EMDR, ensuring care that fits each client’s unique needs. If

you're ready to take the next step towards prioritizing your mental well-being, I look forward to working

with you!

Hello! My name is Noah Rachal, and I am a PLPC (Provisioned Licensed Professional Counselor) here at Always Hope! I graduated with my Masters in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans and I have lived here in the New Orleans area all my life! My strategy while conducting therapy stems from a CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) lens, which targets how our thoughts impact our feelings/emotions and how this impacts our behavior! Additionally, I like to incorporate a person-centered framework, which is a style that aims to create a supportive, accepting, and encouraging environment where the client can be expressive and authentic while exploring their thoughts and feelings and move toward personal fulfillment. Coming from someone who has experienced struggling and still does experience struggle, I understand that life can be difficult in our own unique ways. After all, we’re human! More than anything, I seek to help you create a better version of your life than you had before beginning therapy! Best wishes, and I hope you have the best day you possibly can!

Greetings! I'm Crystal Colin, a provisionally licensed professional counselor and United States Navy

veteran. Originally from Ohio, I have lived in Louisiana for the past ten years. I earned my Bachelor of

Arts in Psychology from Norfolk State University and my Master of Health Science in Clinical Mental

Health Counseling from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans. I have been

dedicated to supporting individuals, adolescents, young adults, and families on their journey toward

healing and personal growth for many years.

My professional experience spans from a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric care,

therapeutic support for at-risk youth, and SPED. I have had the privilege of working with individuals

from diverse cultural backgrounds and helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational

challenges.

I specialize in working with adolescents ages 12–17, young adults, and families who may be experiencing

anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. My

approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, collaboration, and

respect for each client’s unique experiences and strengths. To support meaningful and lasting change, I

integrate evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused

Brief Therapy (SFBT). My goal is to help clients build insight, develop healthy coping strategies,

strengthen resilience, and achieve personal goals in a supportive, compassionate, and strengths-based

environment.

I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and I am committed to creating a

safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, discover strengths, and

move toward a more fulfilling life.
